Who’s next on the list to be vaccinated?

While timing is contingent on supplies of the vaccines and guidance from the California and Los Angeles County public health departments, UCLA expects to offer vaccinations to the following campus groups in the next phase of its rollout:

  • Personnel from UCLA Residential Life, UCLA Housing and food services
  • Employees from custodial and grounds services, skilled trades, mail and document services, parking and transportation, and environmental health and safety
  • Research faculty and staff working on already-approved research operational plans
  • Faculty teaching in-person courses
  • Faculty and staff working on site to support remote instruction
  • On-site pre-K–12 teachers and child care workers

These groups will likely be followed by:

  • Off-site faculty and staff deemed to be critical to the continuity of UCLA’s mission
  • Students (prioritized by age and underlying medical conditions)
  • Other off-site employees (prioritized by age and underlying medical conditions)
