Parking and transportation

UCLA Transportation has closed all in-person lobby transactions until further notice. Please contact transportation by email at transportation@ts.ucla.edu or call 310-794-7433.

For people visiting UCLA Health, all parking and information booths are currently closed until further notice. Customers who need to purchase parking are instructed to use the pay stations, ParkMobile or the Bruin ePermit portal.

UCLA Transportation has discontinued the UCLA Vanpool program in light of the challenges presented by COVID-19. Vanpools participants have the option to lease directly from other vanpool vendors to set up or maintain commuting groups.

BruinAccess is operating normally.

BruinBus, which serves the UCLA campus and Wilshire Center, cleans and sanitizes its vehicles twice daily and has placed hand sanitizer dispensers in all buses.

UCLA SafeRide is operating normally with on-demand rides through the UCLA SafeRide app and the new Safe Loop (PDF), which provides continuous service arriving at stops approximately every 30 minutes.

As public health restrictions loosen and on-campus services and activities resume at a larger scale, some employees currently working remotely will likely need to return to campus in July to support these efforts. It is conceivable that many returning employees who formerly used public transportation or UCLA’s various transportation services may instead choose to drive to campus. To alleviate any potential pressure on parking capacity, we will be working to design plans that strategically stagger the days various employees working hybrid in-person/remote schedules come to campus.
