Reminder: COVID-19 virtual town hall for students March 29

Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

Dear Bruin Students:

This is a reminder to join the virtual town hall for students today from 5–5:45 p.m. regarding UCLA’s announcement of proposed changes to COVID-19 health and safety requirements starting on April 11.

Campus leaders will share spring quarter updates, including information on vaccines and boosters, masking, testing, student services, events and activities. Panelists will also address student questions.

Registration for this event is still open. The town hall will also be livestreamed and archived on YouTube.

Please also note that recognizing masking is still an effective strategy to protect against COVID-19, UCLA is hosting complimentary voluntary-use N95 respirator training sessions including optional fit testing at Bradley Hall on March 31, April 1 and April 5. These trainings are for individuals to learn how to properly wear, maintain, store and reuse these respirators. Please refer to this informational PDF flyer for times and sign up for a session.

I hope you will be able to join tonight’s town hall and a future N95 training session.

Sincerely,

Monroe Gorden, Jr.
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
